New skills for life

Date: 5th Sep 2019 Author: Stephen Allan

The Explorer Scouts started back after the summer with a burst of activities over the first fortnight with an evening in their own climbing walls teaching the climbing instructors of the future. A night camping after taking on a first of tomahawk throwing in less than perfect conditions at Lapwing Lodge where hot food kept the Explorers going. To make the last of the light nights the Explorer Scouts with the Scouts approaching the age to join the Unit took on the challenges of a night learning how to canoe. All bringing new skills for life for the Explorers.
