Become an archery instructor

Date: 29th Aug 2019 Author: Stephen Allan

Funding has been secured to train 12 adults, from scratch, to become archery instructors. You do not require any previous experience in archery to become an instructor. The course takes place in The Bield on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 November 2019 between 9am and 6pm. The course is externally lead and delivers a UK wide recognised qualification. By becoming an instructor the JNI then is able to offer archery to all members from a 6 year old Beaver Scout upwards. If you are interested in taking part in the course contact the Group Scout Leader, Stephen Allan : email: Stephen@thejni.org.uk or 07876 477877

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
