A night on Millport for the Explorers

The Explorer Scouts spent a night camping on Millport as part of the Zodiac challenge award, this month’s being to camp on an island. The Explorers headed down on the train to Largs, and managed to get delayed in the high street for a chippie! Heading over on the ferry followed by a short walk to the National Sailing Centre on Millport the tents were pitched and supper cooked under a star-filled sky. An early rise saw them catch the first ferry off the island when yet again they ‘lost’ their way with a breakfast from Greggs before catching the train back to Paisley.
