Our Cub Pack

What is Cub Scouting?

lap9

There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.

Cubs also get to go on trips and days out, like the Titan Crane, Scotland Street Museum, Microsoft, Lamont Farm, hillwalking. You will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities. The Pack also has a winter youth hostel weekend, in 2016 the Pack stayed on Arran and in 2015 in Edinburgh. There is also the Group indoor weekend in March every year when all four Sections stay at Lapwing Lodge.

The Pack meets on a Wednesday night between 7pm and 8.45pm

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
