Our Beaver Colony

What are beavers?

general website 4

Beaver Scouts are girls and boys aged between five years and 6 months and eight years old. Each week they take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them.

The Beaver Colony meets on a Tuesday night between 6.15pm and 7.15pm.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
